Home and Ranch Show coming to Southeast Expo Center

McALESTER — Thousands of people are expected to attend a three-day McAlester Home and Ranch Show set for October at the Southeast Expo Center.

“Our goal is to bring between 5,000 and 10,000 people to the McAlester area,” said organizer Janelle Martin owner of C&M Production Group in Enid.

“We have been doing this for 38 years in other areas and we are excited to finally be able to bring the show to southeast Oklahoma,” Martin said.

“The show is the third largest in the state.”

She said her goal is to bring “metro” to the small town.

“When you walk into this show it will be just like you are at a show in Tulsa or Oklahoma City, it’s huge.”

She said those attending the show can expect to see everything from home improvement vendors such as landscaping, windows, kitchen remodeling vendors and siding and foundation repair contractors as well as boutiques and “as seen on T.V.” items.

“We bring in alot of outside vendors but we welcome local vendors also,” Martin said.

And on the ranch side, visitors can expect several cattle and equine booths. “The cattle and equine industry have a big part in this show,” she said.

Farm and ranch equipment such as tractors, feed stalls and pens will also be available at the show.

“We’ll have hundreds of vendors,” Martin said.

She said the Southeast Expo Center is a perfect location for the indoor and outdoor event.

“We just love the expo center, it’s probably one of the best venues we have had the opportunity to work with,” Martin said.
