McALESTER —
Eric Heath Reid, 29, of McAlester, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Atoka County Medical Center.
Family will receive guests today from 6 to 7 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brumley-Mills Chapel. Pastor Mike Perry will officiate. Interment will follow at Northtown Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.
Eric was born Dec. 14, 1983 in McAlester to Sonya Hooser Reid and Roy Reid. He lived all of his life in Pittsburg County and graduated from McAlester High School in 2002. He worked at the Choctaw Casino and enjoyed taking care of his “Granny,” video games, pool and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his mother and father Roy and Sonya (Hooser) Reid of McAlester; maternal grandmother Gloria “Granny” Hooser of McAlester; paternal grandmother, Joyce Reid of Idabel; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends, Daniel LeFlore, Michael Williams, Melissa Mann and Vivian Randall.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bobby Hooser, paternal grandfather, Duane Reid and cousin Fredrick Warden. Pastor Mike Perry will officiate. Interment will follow at Northtown Cemetery
Pallbearers are Michael Moore, Billy Joe Warden, Michael Moore Jr., Lester Sennett, Robin Hooser, Lee Harrington and Terry Williams.
Honorary pallbearers are co-workers of the Choctaw Casino.
