Two Eufaula men hospitalized after accident on I-40

McALESTER — Two Eufaula men have been injured in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 40 in Seminole County, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Just a little after noon today, Chase Butler, 21,of Eufaula was driving a 2003 Ford pick up westbound on Interstate 40 in Seminole County with passenger Thomas Butler, 43, also of Eufaula. According to the report,   Chase Butler drove his vehicle into the median, struck a ditch and flipped one complete time, pinning Thomas Butler for approximately 20 minutes. 
Thomas Butler was freed by the Cromwell Fire Department.
The driver, Chase Butler, was transported to Creek Nation Hospital where he was treated and released for a head injury.
The passenger, Thomas Butler, was transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City with multiple injuries.
Both passenger and driver were wearing seatbelts according to the report.
