McALESTER — A special meeting has been called for the McAlester City Council and the secret Project Spider is one of the agenda items.
Project Spider will be discussed in a closed-door executive session but a scheduled vote to seek funding for the 2012 Community Development Block Grant will be discussed in public
Also discussed in open session will be a motion to lauthorize the mayor to sidn a work order for more than 42,000 to pay Melburger Brawlet to complet engineering services.
Mayor Steve Harrison will present a discussion and presentation by Marketing Alliance for a "vision and marketing plan" to rebrand McAlester.
The meeting is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers at McAlester City Hall.
