McALESTER —
State and county officials are looking for a fugitive who has escaped from Jackie Brannon Correctional Center, according JBCC information officer Laurie Martin.
Daniel W. Galloway, 37, a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 205 pounds, with brown hair and brown hair eyes escaped from the McAlester correctional facility late Monday, Martin said.
"We did a special count about 8:30 p.m. and he was missing," she said.
Galloway was inprisoned for failing to register as a sex offender and other related charges according to Martin.
She said he was last seen wearing cut-off camouflage shorts, a white T-shirt and brogan style boots.
Galloway also has tattoos including; left bicep “Live & Let Die” “2 Flaming Skulls” Barbwire Band”; right bicep “Cross in Skull”; left forearm “Grim Reaper”; right forearm ‘Wizard”; right arm “Naked Woman”; left hand “Cross”; left leg “Grim Reaper”; right leg “ Skull in Pentagram”; back “Gargoyle,” according to court records.
Galloway may be driving a 1998 white extended cab GMC pick-up truck with a dent on the bumper and a commercial vehicle tags on the tailgate, according to Pittsburg County Sheriff Joel Kerns.
