Lady Buffs stampede Lady Bulldogs

McALESTER — The McAlester Lady Buffaloes don’t give free passes. Whenever an Okmulgee Lady Bulldog tried to bring the ball up the floor, one, two or even three Lady Buffs swarmed her in the backcourt.

The Lady Buffs’ defense forced turnover after turnover. And on the other end, Kaleisha Johnson and Meredith Saunier knocked down shot after shot.

Saunier and Johnson combined for 37 points, powering the Lady Buffs to 55-30 win against the Lady Bulldogs on Saturday at Bob Brumley Gymnasium.
