McALESTER —
Employee pay along a with the results of a hospital employee survey and a hospital accreditation survey were discussed during the McAlester Regional Health Center Authority Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday.
“Employee raises have been finalized,” said David Keith Chief Executive Officer.
He said some employees whose “jobs fall below market” can expect to see a 3 percent increase, all others will receive a 1 percent increase on their Sept. 13 pay checks. He said exceptions are employees who were hired in 2012 are employed on an (as needed basis) or employees who have already received a raise this year.
Keith said the hospital’s human resource team is also analyzing inequities in current the PRN(employees who work part time hours) pay structure.
He also said the hospital’s human resources team has begun the process of reviewing 2013 benefit changes to help employees save money.
