McALESTER — Investigators say they are still looking into the case of a Pittsburg County woman missing since July. Barbara Ann Durant, 54, was last seen July 7 in Durant with a man who she allegedly living with, according to Pittsburg County Sheriff Joel Kerns. “He is not considered a suspect at this time,” Kerns said. Durant has been listed as an endangered missing person with the FBI’s National Crime Information Center, the sheriff said. Kerns said her case is still open and he has followed up on several leads but none of them “have panned out at this time.” “We know she that is uncharacteristic of her to not be seen or heard of,” Kerns said. Meanwhile Kerns said people who knew Durant was still hoping she will be found. “Several people who know her have called and all of them said they are worried about her,” Kerns said. Durant is described as a white female with red hair and brown eyes. She is 5-feet 2-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
