McALESTER —
Stephen and Karla Brock, of McAlester, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Blair Brock, to Cameron Alexander Green, son of Jason and Diane Green, of McAlester.
Grandparents of the bride-elect are Jim and Mary Miller, of McAlester, and Jim Brock, of Broken Arrow, and the late Barbara Brock. She is the sister to Lane Brock. The prospective groom is the grandson of David and Sharon Pattison, of Choctaw, and Lee White, of McAlester. He is the brother to Ali Green.
Blair is a 2008 graduate of McAlester High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She is currently employed with McAlester Public Schools teaching kindergarten.
Cameron is a 2008 graduate of McAlester High School and a 2012 graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he received his bachelor of science in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. He currently coaches baseball at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton.
The couple plans to make their home in McAlester.
They will be married June 15, 2013, at McAlester First Baptist Church at 6 p.m.

Eastern Oklahoma State College will host the 41st annual Kiamichi All-Star Classic sports competition Saturday in Wilburton. Area high school players will compete for either the North or South teams in softball, baseball and basketball.

Tornadoes and severe weather have torn through a large part of Oklahoma today (May 20,2013) and have devastated Moore south of Oklahoma City hitting two schools and Moore's hospital.
Severe weather is possible for Pittsburg County and is under a tornado watch until 10 p.m. this evening.
