McALESTER —
Tuesday, “Taste of Southeast Oklahoma” a fundraiser event for Court Appointed Special Advocates, also known as CASA, will begin at the Southeast Oklahoma Expo from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event hosts restaurants and specialty shops from all over Southeast Oklahoma.
Executive Director of CASA of Southeast Oklahoma Aaron Williams said this year the event will be themed “Hawaiian Style” and the McAlester High School Cheerleaders will be the “Aloha Girls.”
Tickets will available at the door; $30 for Couples, $20 for Adults and $10 for children or youth four- to 17- years -old and can be picked up in advance at the CASA office at 1230 S. Main St. in McAlester or call 918-426-5779 Corporate Tables are Available until noon, Monday.
There were door prizes, a silent auction, live auction and 50/50 drawings that were held to raise money for CASA.
In the silent auction, there will be a framed OKC Thunder Photo of Kevin Durant and in the live auction is a 2001 National Championship football , OU vs. Florida State, and an OU Football donated and autographed by Heisman Trophy winner Billy Sims, according to Williams and he said there are many more.

Fighting KOs Eufaula Classic in third
