McALESTER —
Judith “Judy Kay” Lewis, 72, of McAlester, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at EPIC Medical Center in Eufaula.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel. Cleveland Sweet will officiate.
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.
She was born on Sept. 19, 1940 in McAlester to Lloyd A. “Buster” and Velma (Chastain) Lewis. She grew up here and has lived here all her life. She had worked at Komar for a while but worked longer for Home Health service as an aid. Judy Kay was a member of the McAlester VFW Post No. 1098 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping and fishing, gardening, watching TV and reading. The most important thing in her life was her family, and she cherished every moment she spent with them; and she enjoyed cooking, as much as her family enjoyed her wonderful cooking. She had been affiliated with the Higher Praise Church.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Stephanie and Jerry Tannehill of McAlester and LaDonna Hendrix of McAlester; one son, Eddie Clabough of McAlester; nine grandchildren, Jake Tannehill, Jason Tannehill, Toni Hendrix, Mark Stine, Michael Hendrix, James Hendrix, Crystal Clabough, Buckley McCullough, Sherry Clabough, Bobby Milligan, Kelly Garcia and Andrew Garcia; six great-grandchildren, Lukaz Kole Hendrix, Lane Hendrix, Zaidyn Rae Hendrix, Carissa Kay Tinker, Makayla Milligan, Brayden Milligan, Dayton Milligan and Raider Garcia; life long best friend Shirley Morris.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Steven Mark Clabough.
Pallbearers are grandsons and grandson-in-law Jake Tannehill, Michael Hendrix, Jason Tannehill, James Hendrix, Mark Stine, Buckley McCullough, Bobby Milligan and Andrew Garcia.

Tornadoes and severe weather have torn through a large part of Oklahoma today (May 20,2013) and have devastated Moore south of Oklahoma City hitting two schools and Moore's hospital.
