McALESTER —
A McAlester man was critically injured while driving an off-highway vehicle Friday, according to law enforcement officials.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that Johnny Schiller, 69, of McAlester, was driving a 2012 Polaris Ranger south-bound on County Road 2 in Krebs about 4 p.m. when the accident occured.
The report states that Schiller went off the right side of the road, over-corrected and rolled a half-time, coming to rest on the passenger side.
He was transported to McAlester Regional Health Center and then by air-ambulance to Saint Francis hospital in Tulsa, the report states.
He is listed in critical condition with head, trunk, internal and arm injuries.
