McALESTER —
Harper’s Valley Baptist Church will host a revival Sunday through Oct. 3.
Tom Hargrave, pastor of Ward’s Chapel Baptist Church in Atoka, will be preaching.
Yvonne Williams will play the piano Sunday night through Oct. 3. Her group will sing and lead the music.
The first revival service starts Sunday morning at 11 followed by a lunch. Another service will begin again at 6 p.m.
Weekday services Monday through Oct. 3 will begin at 7 p.m. On Oct. 3, pizza will be served before the service at 6 p.m.
Harper’s Valley is six miles west of Kiowa.

Tornadoes and severe weather have torn through a large part of Oklahoma today (May 20,2013) and have devastated Moore south of Oklahoma City hitting two schools and Moore's hospital.
Severe weather is possible for Pittsburg County and is under a tornado watch until 10 p.m. this evening.
