Buffaloes run over Bulldogs in Skiatook

SKIATOOK — Having scored on their last two possessions, the Skiatook Bulldogs took a little momentum with them into halftime.

With a 21-0 third quarter, the McAlester Buffaloes took it right back.

Seth Grant and Devin Rolan rushed for two touchdowns apiece, helping McAlester's running game to a six-touchdown performance and a 42-18 victory against Skiatook on the road on Friday at Hap Dunlap Field.

Despite the commanding win, McAlester's hopes for back-to-back district titles ended Friday, as Bishop Kelley beat Tulsa Memorial to clinch first place. McAlester can secure the second seed — and resulting first-round home playoff game — by beating Memorial next Friday at Hook Eales Stadium.
