McALESTER — A helicopter assists in the installation of an air conditioning unit in Oklahoma State Penitentiary’s H-unit on Tuesday. OSP Warden’s Assistant Terry Crenshaw said the installation is part of a continuing effort to have properly working air systems in all of the prison’s units. The prison has had issues with air conditioning over the years and Crenshaw expects that the current repairs with alleviate those issues.
