Members of the Canadian FFA chapter attended a leadership conference on Dec. 1 hosted by the Roland FFA chapter. This conference provided members with the chance to develop and refine skills that will create a lifetime of leadership.
Teaching the four workshops were four Oklahoma state FFA officers. Workshops ranged from FFA opportunities to overcoming obstacles. Students worked in small groups to solve challenges, have discussions, and learn leader success.
βIt was a great opportunity to work with the state officers and students from other FFA chapters,β said Robyn Mitchell, Canadian FFA treasurer. βI learned a lot of great ideas to bring back to our chapter.β
