Blair Smallwood, Talihina High School senior, and Jody Bane, Alliance Coordinator from OSU – IT Okmulgee, recently met to discuss the College Alliance Agreement that allows Smallwood an opportunity to enroll in up to 15 college credits while concurrently enrolled at Kiamichi Technology Centers and Talihina Public Schools.
Even with this busy schedule, Smallwood has discovered that he will receive college credit for the courses that he is taking at KTC – Talihina in the Business Administration Information Technology class.
Smallwood will receive college credits from the College Alliance Agreement which will give him a head start on his college training upon graduation from Talihina High School in May 2010. The college credits that he will receive will enable him to graduate from high school with two completed semesters of college coursework.
For more information regarding enrollment at KTC contact Jodie White at 888-567-6643 or 918-567-2264. White may also be reached via email at jwhite2@okktc.org.
For more information regarding college credits, contact Tammy Lester at tlester@okktc.org.
