OSP inmate accused of sexual battery

McALESTER — An Oklahoma State Penitentiary inmate is accused of sexual battery.

Cerrone Lemont Jackson, 32, was charged with the count Friday (Jan. 4) in Pittsburg County District Court.

According to court records, Jackson is accused of kissing the cheek and lips of a female OSP correctional officer on Oct. 25 “in a lewd and lascivious manner and without” her consent.

Jackson is currently serving a six-year prison sentence at OSP for a 2010 Oklahoma County conviction of felony possession of a controlled dangerous substance after two or more previous felony convictions.

Jackson is currently scheduled to be released in November 2015 and has a parole hearing scheduled next month. However, if Jackson is convicted in this new case, he is facing up to an additional five years prison time for the new charge and up to life imprisonment for his previous convictions.
