McALESTER —
The following felony and misdemeanor cases were decided in Pittsburg County District Court Aug. 3 - 13.
Dispositions include dismissed cases, suspended and deferred sentences and sentences from trials and plea bargains.
Listings do not include all court costs.
Felony cases
• Tiana K. McKenzie, 24, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 3 to a charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine). She was fined $1,450 and sentencing was deferred for five years.
• Michael Joe Lardi, 31, Haileyville, pleaded guilty Aug. 3 to charges of domestic abuse assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon by use of firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, trespassing after being forbidden, public intoxication and driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license. He was fined $2,190 and sentenced to 20 years, with 12 years suspended.
• James M. Pearce, 37, Indianola, pleaded guilty Aug. 3 to a charge of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was fined $2,000 and received a 10-year suspended sentence. A charge of failure to pay taxes due state was dismissed.
• Kenneth Stephenson Jr., 21, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 3 to a charge of first degree burglary. He was fined $150 and was sentenced to serve seven years in the custody of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. A charge of attempted robbery by force or fear was dismissed.
• Eric A . Watson, 25, Moore, pleaded guilty Aug. 3 to charges of larceny of an automobile, second degree burglary, grand larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was fined $2,200 and sentenced to 10 years, with seven years suspended.
• Tammy D. Little, 42, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 3 to a charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She was fined $1,350 and received a five-year suspended sentence. Charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication were dismissed.
• Douglas E. Cook, 55, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 8 to two counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child younger than 12 years of age. He was fined $1,100, ordered to register as a level III sex offender and sentenced to 20 years, with 13 years suspended. A charge of lewd exhibition of person was dismissed.
• Leo Gullick Jr., 43, McAlester, pleaded no contest Aug. 10 to a charge of second degree burglary. He was fined $700 and received a two-year suspended sentence.
• Horace Dean, 37, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 10 to charges of falsely personate another to create liability and driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license. He was fined $600 and received a five-year suspended sentence.
• Marty S. Soblaskey, 35, McAlester, appeared in court Aug. 10 on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled drug (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) within 1,000 feet of a school or park, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) within 1,000 feet of a school or park, possession of a precursor substance, domestic abuse assault and battery and two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was fined, ordered to register as a methamphetamine offender and received a 15-year suspended sentence. A charge of possession of a controlled drug (marijuana) with intent to distribute was dismissed.
• Aaron Prado, 27, of the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester, pleaded no contest Aug. 10 to a charge of first degree manslaughter. He was sentenced to 20 years incarceration with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
• Dana M. Morgan, 40, Hartshorne, pleaded guilty Aug. 10 to a charge of assault and battery. Morgan was fined $250 and sentencing was deferred for three years. A charge of assault and battery on a police officer was dismissed.
Misdemeanor cases
• Todd Lee Crenshaw, 25, McAlester, pleaded no contest Aug. 3 to a charge of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was fined $650 and sentencing was deferred for one year. A charge of assault and battery was dismissed.
• Wayne H. Patteson, 41, Tooele, Utah, pleaded no contest Aug. 3 to charges of obstructing an officer and public intoxication. He was fined $370 and sentencing was deferred for one year.
• A charge of obtaining cash or merchandise by bogus check or false pretenses was dismissed Aug. 3 for Kathryn D. Hamilton, 48, McAlester.
• A charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed Aug. 3 for Colton L. Chaney, 21, Hartshorne.
• Monty W. Gray, 54, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 7 to a charge of public intoxication. He was fined $130.
• Joshua Alexander, 32, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 7 to a charge of public intoxication. He was fined $130.
• Darrel J. Akers, 31, Kernsersville, N.C., pleaded guilty Aug. 8 to charges of unlawfully carrying weapons and public intoxication. He was fined $370 and received a 30-day suspended sentence.
• A charge of driving without a driver’s license was dismissed Aug. 8 for Clint P. Ordway, 30, Haileyville.
• A charge of driving without a valid driver’s license was dismissed Aug. 8 for Lawrence Sutton, 67, Coalgate.
• A charge of failure to stop at a red light was dismissed Aug. 9 for Leondus E. Bogard, 63, McAlester.
• Laura Isenhower, 53, McAlester, pleaded no contest Aug. 10 to two counts of assault and battery. She was fined $50 and sentencing was deferred for 90 days.
• Eugene Tilman, 32, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 10 to charges of driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was fined $280 and received a one-year suspended sentence.
• Paul M. Nelson, 51, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 13 to a charge of public intoxication. He was fined $80.
• Chad E. Sinclair, 21, McAlester, pleaded guilty Aug. 13 to charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to carry insurance or a security verification form. He was fined $350.
• Jacob A. Ellard, 26, Tulsa, pleaded no contest Aug. 13 to a charge of transporting an opened container of beer. He was fined $10 and sentencing was deferred for 30 days.
• Carla Partin, Durant, pleaded guilty Aug. 13 to charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving while impaired and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was fined $1,540, ordered to complete DUI school and sentencing was deferred for one year.
• Michael W. Hoglen, 23, Quinton, pleaded guilty Aug. 13 to charges of obstructing an officer and driving without a driver’s license. He was fined $560 and sentencing was deferred for one year.
The following new felony cases were filed in Pittsburg County District Court, from Aug. 8 - 14.
• On Aug. 8, Adam W. Montana, 38, McAlester, was charged with second degree burglary.
• On Aug. 9, Roger A. Thrailkill Jr., 20, McAlester, was charged with taking /receiving a stolen credit or debit card.
• On Aug. 10, Anthony D. Washington II, 26, Oklahoma City, was charged with trafficking in illegal drugs and unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.
• On Aug. 10, Marcella Dalpaos, 49, McAlester, was charged with conspiracy to manufacture a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine), unlawful possession of a controlled drug (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute and child abuse by neglect.
• On Aug. 10, Marcella Dalpaos, 49, McAlester, was charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine), child abuse by neglect and maintaining a place for keeping /selling controlled substances.
• On Aug. 10, Billy D. Richman, 27, McAlester, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana).
• On Aug. 10, Jeffery D. Watts, 28, McAlester, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (morphine) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
• On Aug. 10, Leslee Sue James, 40, McAlester, was charged with uttering a forged instrument and taking /receiving a stolen credit or debit card.
• On Aug. 13, Stephen D. Kerns, 38, McAlester, was charged with driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to carry insurance or a security verification form.
• On Aug. 13, David D. Garrison, 56, Eufaula, was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana).
• On Aug. 13, David D. Garrison, 56, Eufaula, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled drug (marijuana) with intent to distribute, cultivation of a controlled drug (marijuana), possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, use of surveillance equipment while committing a felony, maintaining a place for keeping /selling controlled substances and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
• On Aug. 13, Amber K. Hardin, 47, Eufaula, was charged with maintaining a place for keeping /selling controlled substances.
• On Aug. 13, Nathaniel D. Meashintubby, 29, McAlester, was charged with assault and battery on a medical care provider, placing bodily fluid on a law enforcement officer, obstructing an officer and two counts of malicious injury to property valued less than $1,000.
• On Aug. 14, Lawrence Lee Leason, 68, McAlester, was charged with destruction of railroad equipment and possession of a firearm with no serial number in the commission of a felony.
• On Aug. 14, Danny A. Ohoulahan, 22, McAlester, was charged with four counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child younger than 16 years of age.
