Kiowa man accused of lewd acts

McALESTER — A Kiowa man was recently accused of inappropriately touching the body of an 11-year-old girl.

Danny Lee Hamilton, 51, was charged Nov. 27 in Pittsburg County District Court with one felony count of lewd or indecent acts to a child younger than 16 years of age.

According to court records, the young girl was spending the night at Hamilton’s home when he allegedly inappropriately rubbed her while she was sleeping.

A $25,000 warrant was issued for Hamilton’s arrest. If convicted, he is facing up to 20 years in prison.
