Two more inmates escape JBCC

McALESTER — Two inmates who were housed at the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in McAlester escaped the minimum security facility early Wednesday morning.

Authorities are also continuing to search for Alvin D. Boyer, age 27, a JBCC inmate who escaped the facility early Friday morning.

Terry Buckley, 27, and Jeffery Walker, 23, were determined to be missing from the facility Wednesday morning, according to JBCC Warden’s Assistant Laurie Martin. And Boyer was last seen at Friday’s 6:30 a.m. count, Martin said.

“We’re working with multiple law enforcement agencies,” Martin said. “We’ve got people on the ground, on the road, and the dogs are out and trying to track him.”

Boyer began serving time at JBCC on Sept. 22, 2011, according to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections website at www.doc.state.ok.us. In July of 2011, Boyer was sentenced to serve 2,982 days for multiple firearm and drug related felony convictions. According to the DOC website, Boyer is set to be released on Nov. 26, 2018, and has a parole hearing set in January of 2014.

Walker began serving time at JBCC on April 12, 2011, according to the DOC website. In April of 2009, Walker was sentenced to serve five years incarceration for a robbery with firearm conviction. He is set to be released from custody on April 5, 2013.

Buckley began serving time at JBCC on July 16, 2008, according to the DOC website. In June of 2008, Buckley was sentenced to serve 15 years for a felony drug-related conviction. He has multiple felony convictions, including burglary, eluding, false impersonation and multiple felony drug related charges. He is set to be released Jan. 3, 2023, and has a parole hearing scheduled in December of 2012.

Boyer, a white male, is covered in tattoos, Martin said. And in his Oklahoma Department of Corrections mugshot, tattoos can bee seen on Boyer’s face, under each of his eyes. Under his left eye are two teardrop tattoos, according to the website, and under his right eye is another tattoo. Boyer also has tattoos covering his neck, and those include the word “Kracker,” on the right side of his neck and a swastika symbol.

Walker and Buckley are black males and were last seen wearing gray coats, Martin said.

If anyone has any information on the inmates’ whereabouts, call JBCC at 918-421-3339 or the McAlester Police Department at 918-423-1212 or the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office at 918-423-5858.
