McAlester man accused of lewd acts

McALESTER — A McAlester man was recently accused of lewd acts for an alleged incident that took place in May of this year.

William Stanton Hatridge, 19, was charged July 9 (Monday) in Pittsburg County District Court with one count of lewd or indecent acts to a child younger than 16 years of age.

According to court records, Hatridge allegedly inappropriately touched a seven-year-old boy while also inappropriately touching himself.

The child described to authorities in detail about the sexual abuse that allegedly occurred, according to a police affidavit.
