McALESTER — Kiowa Police Sergeant Jess Wilson and his K9 partner Hassan found $25,000 along with narcotics during a routine traffic stop according to Kiowa Chief of Police Tony Runyon.
Runyon said Wilson stopped a vehicle Sunday evening and conducted a “drug sniff” with his K9 partner Hassan.
When the specially trained police dog indicated drugs were in the vehicle, Wilson conducted a through search of the vehicle.
That’s when Wilson found the narcotics and $25,000 that the driver said he was taking to Dallas.
