The Bread Baking entries have the following categories-white bread, whole wheat bread, other grain bread, dinner rolls and specialty breads (including sweet breads). Each Bread Baking entry must have an entry form and recipe. No quick breads-all items must contain yeast. All baking must be conducted in a conventional oven-no bread baking machines can be used. All breads must be made from scratch-no mixes. Members may enter one entry per category. Bread should be entered on a disposable plate covered with a see-thru wrap or placed in a zipper closure bag. Exhibits should consist of one whole loaf or three rolls. To help promote the visibility of the county 4-H program and its members, champion entries will be kept and shared with area supporters.
