Fallin sworn in

NORMAN — Former Sen. Mary Fallin became Oklahoma’s first woman governor as she took the oath of office shortly after noon Monday. She braved the cold to maintain the tradition of taking the oath of office on the steps of the Capitol.

Fallin promised to pursue common sense policies and programs that deliver greater efficiency and higher value for Oklahomans.
