Mary Caldwell, 69, of Hartshorne

McALESTER — Mary Caldwell, 69, of Hartshorne, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, in Okmulgee.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery Pavilion with Ronnie Cunningham officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.

Born Aug. 27, 1943, in McAlester, she was raised by her mother, Mary (Snell) Cawthon and Wayne Cawthon. She grew up in McAlester where she attended Central Christian Church.

She married Jerry Caldwell on Dec. 27, 1992, in Hartshorne. At that time, they established their home in Hartshorne.

She had worked as an inspector at Elsing’s/Henson-Kickernick and at Seamprufe/Komar for a number of years.  Later she worked at McAlester Hospital for 15 years.

She enjoyed going dancing and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Caldwell, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry DeWayne and Lisa Caldwell, of Pawnee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and Johnny Randall, of Hartshorne, and Waynola and Delbert Warren, of Haileyville.

Also, grandchildren, Jonathan Caldwell and DeAnn, Tiffany Day, Shelby Day, Jessica Stidmon, Kristan Barrett and Daniel, Brittany Warren and John, Natasha Caldwell, Jordan Caldwell, Justin Caldwell and Jacob Caldwell; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sophia Riggs, of McAlester, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Mary Cawthon, and a son, Richard Caldwell.
