Marceline “Marcy” Wilson, 70, of McAlester, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

The family will receive visitors at from 6 to 7 tonight at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brumley-Mills Chapel with Charles Kerley officiating. Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery near Haywood. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.

Born Feb. 8, 1936, in Celestine, just south of McAlester, she was the daughter of William Ray and Ivy Amelia (Holloway) Wilson. She had lived in McAlester all her life and graduated from McAlester High School in 1954. In September of that year, when she was just 18 years old, she went to work for The National Bank of McAlester, (The Bank, NA) and after 47 years she retired in 2001.

She was proud to be a member of the Choctaw Tribe.

Survivors include four sisters, Edith Morris, Cucamonga, Calif., Irene Tennet, Springfield, Ore., Pearl Tidwell, Azle, Texas, and Marie Adair, Enid.

Also, one brother, Ralph Wilson, Springfield, Ore.; numerous nieces and nephews, and her special friend, Rhydonia Baucom, of McAlester.

Pallbearers will be Greg Baucom, Brian Baucom, Jason Fassio, Don Brumley, Ed Staples and Steve Carano.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees and former employees of The Bank, NA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Marcella Wilson, Betty Jo Stone, Juanita Smith, and three brothers, Ronald Wilson, Billy Ray Wilson, and Richard Wilson.
