Johnnie Bruce Easley

McALESTER — Johnnie Bruce Easley, 63, of Canadian Shores, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at his home.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Bryan Levan. Burial will follow. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.
Born Oct. 18, 1949, in McAlester, he was the son of Johnnie C. and Carroll Jean (Peden) Easley.
He served in the United States Marine Corps with one duty in Vietnam and as with the Oklahoma National Guard during Desert Storm.
Survivors include his father, John C. Easley, of Oklahoma City; sons, Jason B. Easley, and Lee Newcomb and wife, Rita, of Canadian Shores; sister, Pam Elliott and husband, Sam, of Oklahoma City; aunt, Peggy Underwood and husband, David, of Quinton; granddaughter, Kayleah Newcomb; grandson Dakota Newcomb, and numerous cousins, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carrol Jean Easley; maternal grandparents, George and Bonnie Peden, and paternal grandmother, Birdie Bannon.
