McALESTER — Geraldine Rhine, of McAlester, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Heritage Hills Nursing Center.

Graveside services were Monday at Church of the Resurrection in Tulsa with Deacon James Scarpitti officiating. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Fitzgerald Funeral Home of Tulsa.

Born Nov. 29, 1926, in Ohio, she was the daughter of Anthony and Mary Derichsweiler Match. She and her family returned to McAlester after her father preceded her in death. She and her siblings grew up in McAlester and graduated from St. John’s High School.

She was a lifelong Catholic, attending St. John’s Church in McAlester for the last four months. She previously attended Church of the Resurrection in Tulsa.

Survivors include her sister, Clara Match Titus, of Tinley Park, Ill.; two nephews, Paul Titus, of Bradley, Ill., and Allan Titus, of Grayslake, Ill.; cousins, Bill Derichsweiler and wife, Val, of McAlester, and good friends, Mike Stilley and wife, Peggy, of Oklahoma City, Joe Moore and wife, Connie, of Kansas, and Frances Volock, of McAlester.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Rhine; a niece and a brother, Harold.
