Carol Simonoski, 72, of McAlester

McALESTER — Carol Simonoski, 72, of McAlester, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Mitchell Manor.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Chaney’s Memorial Chapel with J.T. Carnell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.

Born Feb. 6, 1941, in Billings, Mont., she was raised by George and Lucille Abrhams. She married James Simonoski in 1961 in Spiro and they had three children.

She worked as a clerk for a beauty supply store for several years and retired in 2001.

She enjoyed fishing and hunting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids.

Survivors include her husband, James Simonoski, of the home; children, Steve Simonoski, Noella Heathcock and James Simonoski; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucille Abrhams.
