McALESTER — Daniel L. Walden, 63, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tucson, Ariz.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Tucson; daughter, Julie Homan and husband, Matt; granddaughter, Alexandra, of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Jay Dee Walden; grandson, Jay, of Tucson; mother, Lois Walden, of Wilburton; sister, Barbara Wilson and husband, Wayne, of Wilburton; nephew, Darrel Wilson, of Panama, and niece, Lori Wilson Kinsinger, of Lake Tenkiller.

He was preceded in death by father, Dee Walden Jr.; grandparents, Dee and Ocie Walden, and Albert and Effie Michaelis; and uncles, Jim Walden and Claude Michaelis.
