McALESTER — Judith Ann (Holbird) Kelley, 62, of McAlester, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Muskogee Regional East Star Hospital.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bishop Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bishop Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Paul Tucker officiating, assisted by  Pastor Walter Kuhlman. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.

Born April 17, 1950, in Alameda, Calif., she was the daughter of Charles and Velma Jones Holbird. She graduated from Arvin High School before attending college.

She worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority as a toll booth attendant until her retirement. She married Gary Kelley on Feb. 3, 1995, in Wilburton.

She was an active member of the Lord’s Calvary Church where she was baptized in September 2011. She enjoyed working on craft projects, crocheting, gardening and planning family picnics. She was known a “Nanny” or “Granny Ann.” She loved the time that she was able to spend with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Kelley, of the home; children, Kevin Davis and wife, Renodda, of Alderson, Althea Madden and husband, Brice, of McAlester, Mary DeCambra and husband, Paul, of Reno, Nev., Tracy Stoneburner and wife, Paula, of McAlester, Karri Knight and husband, Michael, of Choctaw, Bobby Kelley, of Naples, Fla., and Justin Kelley, of Cushing.

Also, 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Rickman; brothers, Johnny Holbird and wife, Toyoko, and Carl Salmon; mother-in-law, Clara Kelley, of the home, and numerous friends and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Holbird and Doug Holbird; two granddaughters, Kristen Stoneburner and Jeanette Dedmon, and niece, Penny Gessell.

Pallbearers will be Cody Davis, Brandon Davis, Tracy Lee Davis, Jay Stanford, Brandon Anderson, Tracy Howard and Daryl Whitacre.
