Norma Jean (Conn) Clifton-Crawley, 80, of McAlester

McALESTER — Norma Jean (Conn) Clifton-Crawley, 80, of McAlester, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at her home.

Funeral services are Monday at 10 a.m. at the Bishop Chapel of Memories in McAlester with the Rev. Arty Hearod officiating. Burial will follow at the Tannehill Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.

She was born Sept. 2, 1932, in Scipio, to Cecil and Marie (Epps) Conn. She was a homemaker and an avid sports fan. She enjoyed baseball and basketball and working in her yard. She was a member of Lone Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Daryl Clifton and wife, Vicki, of Tannehill, and Larry Clifton and wife, Susan, of Scipio; a daughter Dianna Lott and Teddy Rogers, of McAlester; and stepchildren, Gary Crawley and wife, Wilma, and Ronnie Crawley.

Also, grandchildren, Brian Lott and wife, Darla; Kevin Lott; Stephanie Fink and husband, Jon; Stacy Youngblood and husband, James; Jason Clifton; Eric Clifton and wife, Chastity; Leslie Gray and husband, Garrett; Ben Crawley; Seth Crawley and wife, April; Gary Crawley and wife, Misty; and Pauline Odom.

And, sisters, Kay Foris and husband, Hank; Myra Sanders and husband, Charles; Carol Weeks and husband, J.E.; and Wanda Crenshaw.

Also, a brother, Danny Conn and Wife, Jeanette; 24 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Tommye Hendershot, Eloise Kelley and Barbara Clifton; special friends, Mozell Staggs, Loretta Tripp, Mary Isom, Crystal Jacobs and Jimmy Zummer; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Marie Conn; her husband, Warner Crawley Jr., and her children’s father, Aldon Clifton.

Active pallbearers are Brian Lott, Kevin Lott, Eric Clifton, Jason Clifton, Jon Fink, James Youngblood, Ben Crawley, Seth Crawley, Garrett Gray and Gary Gene Crawley.

Honorary pallbearers are Hank Foris, Dave Grantham, Teddy Rogers, J.E. Weeks, Bailee Foris, J.W. and Montana Hammons.
