Louis Everett Rogers, 68, of Tulsa

McALESTER — Louis Everett Rogers, 68, of Tulsa, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at Add’Vantage Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Christ United Methodist Church in Tulsa with Pastor Dan Bankston officiating. Burial will be at Bower Cemetery in Eufaula. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Add’Vantage Funeral Service of Tulsa.

Born May 10, 1944, in Canadian, he was the son of Lonnie Rogers and Lottie (Hyatt) Rogers. He was a retired steel burner for Prescor of Sapulpa. He married Linda Sue Fremen on May 17, 1963.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Rogers, of the home; three daughters, Evelyn Vonschriltz and husband, Everett, of Claremore, Sherry Rogers, of Broken Arrow, and Dawna Riggenbach and husband, Jeff, of Tulsa.

Also, one brother; Bobby Rogers and wife, Joyce, of Tulsa; two sisters, Kathryn Pruitt, of Mustang, and Emma Walters and husband, son, of Crowder; three grandchildren, Lora Moss, Olivia and Alexa Riggenbach, and three stepgrandchildren, Kathryn, Landon and Emily Vonschriltz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ray, T.J. and Lonnie Rogers, and two sisters, Thelma Thulin and Sue Hoffman.
