McALESTER —
Carol Simonoski, 72, of McAlester, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Mitchell Manor.
A memorial service was held Friday at Chaney’s Memorial Chapel, officiated by J.T. Carnell.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home.
Born Feb. 6, 1941, in Billings, Mont., she was the daughter of George and Lucille Abrhams.
She married James Simonoski in 1961 in Spiro. They had two children.
She worked as a clerk for a beauty supply store for several years and retired in 2001.
She enjoyed fishing and hunting. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, James Simonoski, of the home; two children, Steve Simonoski and Noella Heathcock; three grandchildren; and, two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucille Abrhams.
