Dolores Lorena (McIntosh) Muller, 92, formerly of Hartshorne

McALESTER — Dolores Lorena (McIntosh) Muller, 92, formerly of Hartshorne, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, in Talihina.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bishop Chapel of Memories with the Rev. David Warden and the Rev. David Monk officiating.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester. Graveside services will be at Oakland Cemetery in Indiana, Pa. Arrangements are under the direction of Robinson Lytle Funeral Home of Indiana, Pa.

Born July 16, 1920, in Antlers, she was the daughter of Chostin McIntosh and Annie (Loman) McIntosh. She was a full blood Choctaw and was very proud of her heritage. She attended school in Antlers at St. Agnes and Bacone in Muskogee.

She had lived in Oklahoma, California, Missouri and Pennsylvania. For the past eight years, she had been a resident of Talihina Manor.

She was a homemaker and had also worked at several different jobs over the years.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Indiana. She had a love for and cared for animals.

Survivors include her nieces and their husbands, Ruth and Gene Hancock, of Collinsville, Angeline and John Lewis, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Ann and Ray Tobey, of Hartshorne, Sue BadMoccasin, of Lincoln, Neb., and Lois and Ed Arterburn, of Keota; 13 great-nieces and great-nephews; 34 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews and five great-great-great-nieces and great-great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chostin and Annie McIntosh; her husband, Robert Muller; sister, Lucille (McIntosh) Tims; niece, Emmaline Tims, and brother, Clifton McIntosh.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Hancock, John Lewis, Ray Tobey and Ed Arterburn.
