McALESTER —
June O’Kelley Williams, 55, of Haileyville, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at her home.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Brumley-Mills Chapel in Hartshorne with Brother Lonnie Clunn officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
Born June 11, 1957, in Hartshorne, she was the daughter of Henry and Dorothy (Reed) O’Kelley. She grew up in Haileyville and had lived there all her life. She graduated from Haileyville High School and then attended Kiamichi Vo-Tech, where she earned her LPN certification. She worked as a nurse in the area for a number of years until her health failed her.
She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan H. and Robin Walker, of Hartshorne; and daughter and son-in-law, Sharla D. and Jeremy Morrison, of Heavener.
Also, three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Patricia Smith and Bill Smith, of Hartshorne, Ann and Arthur Rich, of Hartshorne, and Mary Lou and Lonnie Clunn, of Haileyville.
And, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Linda O’Kelley, of Bedford, Texas, and Bobby and Karen O’Kelley, of High Hill, and four grandchildren, Madison and Laney Walker and Aerial and Alylssia Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dorothy O’Kelley; brother, Jimmy O’Kelley; sister, Frances Mordecai; her grandparents, and two nieces.
Pallbearers will be Dennis James, Johnny Fred Regan, Galen Clunn, John Rich, Rick Pingleton and David O’Kelley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Morrow, Don Riley, Johnny Williams, Tommy Morrow, Derek McGuire, Dale McGuire and all her nursing friends.
