McALESTER —
Manuel “Manny” Wilson, 51, of Oklahoma City, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at his sister’s home in Tupelo. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Kiowa Cemetery. The Rev. Rickey Searcy officiated and interment followed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home.
In 1961 in Savanna, he was born to Coleman Walter Wilson and Betty (Justin) Wilson. He grew up in Kiowa and Choctaw. He worked for Martin Electric for several years and enjoyed working and yard work.
He is survived by his brothers, Jimmy Dale Wilson, of Tupelo, Coleman Wilson Jr., of Oklahoma City, Michael Wilson, of Tupelo, Glen Wilson and wife, Darla, of Oklahoma City, and Timmy Wilson and wife, Christina, of Newalla; sisters Sheila Herrington and husband, Clarence, of Tupelo, and Mary Wilson, of Tupelo, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family member and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman and Betty Wilson, and brothers Harold “Lucky” Wilson, Roger Wilson and Terry Lynn Wilson.
