McALESTER —
John Michael Imler, of McAlester, died Nov. 7, 2012, in the Philippines.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
He was medically retired from the United States Army Base fire department.
Survivors include his son, Dustin Imler, of Miami; his sister and brother-in-law, Starr and Charlie Branson, of Arpelar; his sister, Penny Smith, of Bache; his sister and brother-in-law, Stacy and Billy Herring, of Hartshorne; his sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Kenneth Johnston, of Ardmore, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Imler, of Hartshorne; his mother, Gloria Wolfe, of McAlester; his uncle, John Imler, of Crowder, and his uncle, Al Smith, of Bache.
