McALESTER — Earl Joe Simmons Jr., 35, of Alderson, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at the McAlester Regional Health Center.

Graveside funeral services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Corinne Cemetery, near Rattan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.

He was born Dec. 10, 1976, in Paris, Texas, to Earl Joe Sr. and Molenda (Davis) Simmons. He graduated from Idabel High School and married Bobbie Dawn on May 18, 2007, in Fort Smith, Ark. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the lake and having picnics and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Dow Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Bobby Dawn Simmons, of the home; children, Karalyne Michelle Simmons, Austin Ryan Simmons, Corey Gage Simmons, McKayla Dawn Simmons and Katlyn Renee Simmons; and stepson Christopher Kent Wells, of Elkton, Ky.

Also, mother, Molenda Simmons, of Canadian; special aunt, Linda White, of Millerton; aunts, Melissa Wilson, of Indianola, Levieta Bacorn, of Quinton, and Cathey Kelly, of Corinne; and uncles, Arvil Davis, of Quinton, and Chester Davis, of Corinne.

And, special cousins, Trent Harlow, of Rattan, and Samantha Williamson, of McAlester; grandmother, Kleo Davis, of Corinne; and great grandmother, Beulah Nichols, of Corinne.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Renee Simmons, on May 30, 2004; father, Earl Joe Simmons Sr.; grandfather, Virgil Davis, and great great grandfather, George Nichols.

Pallbearers will be Tony Wells, Jarred Weeden, Randy Bristow, Randy Davis, Hollis Walley and Jimmie Ellis. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Harlow, Michael Williamson, Mike Wagoner, Terry Stanford and Marty Atkins.
