Doyle Bert ‘Bud’ Thompson, of Gladewater, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012.
Memorial services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at 485 Mountainview Road in Gladewater. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. No visitation is scheduled.
He was born Aug. 26, 1936, in McAlester.
He is survived by his daughters, Betty Welch, of Streetman, Texas; Barbara Graham, of Lowell, Ark.; Linda Foster, of Rockport, Texas; son, Jerry Thompson, of Alvord, Texas; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Hack Thompson, of Gladewater, Texas; sisters Edna Cathey, of McAlester, and Estelle Painter, of Indianola.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Lee Thomspon, of McAlester.
