McALESTER — Randy Wayne Orr, 51, of McAlester, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in Tulsa.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bishop Funeral Service.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Arpelar Cemetery Pavilion in Arpelar. Interment will follow at Arpelar Cemetery, Arpelar. Raymond Wilson will officiate. Arrangements are under direction of Bishop Funeral Service

Born to James Donald and Carolyn (Wilson) Orr on Aug. 27, 1961, in Dallas, Texas. He attended Checotah High School. He worked in coal mines, and gas and oil fields. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the VFW.

He was survived by his mother, Carolyn Orr, of the home; his daughter, Megan Marie Kirkpatrick-Orr, of Fresno, Calif.; brothers, Carl Chaffin and wife, Charlotte, of Columbia, S.C., James “Bub” Orr and wife, Thresea, of Checotah; nieces and nephews, Carleen Guthrie, of Wainwright, Amber Chaffin-Walters, of Columbia, S.C., J.D. Orr, of Mounds, Shaun Chaffin, of Springdale, Ark.; five great-nieces; two great-nephews; cousin, Kim Joslin and husband, James, of McAlester; uncles, Raymond Wilson and wife, Selina, of McAlester, Walter Wilson and Debbie, of McAlester, Gary Don Wilson and wife, Sheila, of Ulan; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Donald Orr on Nov. 2, 2002; maternal grandparents, Carl and Rozella Wilson; paternal grandparents, Hubert and Dora Orr.

Active pallbearers will be:Carl Chaffin, James “Bub” Orr, J.D. Orr, Shaun Chaffin, Dr. Noel Emmerson, Steve Emmerson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Wilson, Roy Roberts, Mike Waldo and Rick Nelson.
