Penny Vance Lemke, 51, of Del City

McALESTER — Penny Vance Lemke, 51, of Del City, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 9 at Haywood Public School Auditorium. Arrangements are under the direction of Caskets Inc. & Johnson Funeral Service.

She was born Nov. 1, 1961, in Lafayette, Ind., moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., and attended high school in Enid and equestrian school at Connors State University. She lived in Roswell N.M. before settling back home in Oklahoma.

She married Del Lemke of Del City and was a a loving wife and homemaker. The most important thing to her was her family and friends.

She had a great passion for horses and competed in, and won, many competitive horse shows throughout her life.

She attended Oak Dale Baptist Church in Edmond.

Survivors include her husband, Del Lemke; her daughter, Desa’Rae Parham Moody; son, Levi Parham and his wife, April; her grandchildren, Isaac Moody, Caleb Whitfield and Juniper Craig Parham; siblings, Victor Vance, Tammy Bowles, Annette Vance and Jason Vance; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delwyn and Louise Lemke; brother-in-law, Darrel Lemke, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents, Peggy and Stan Hayes and Hugh Vance, and her niece, Amber Bowles.

Memorials may be made to Good Shephard Hospice in Oklahoma City or your local humane society.
