McALESTER — Sue Eisenhauer, 73, of McAlester, died Friday Jan. 25, 2013, at Solara Hospital in Shawnee.    

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bishop Chapel of Memories, with the Very Rev. Stephanie Swinnea officiating. Interment will be at the All Saints Episcopal Church Niche, under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.

She was born Nov. 1, 1939, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Mitchell A. and Velma Blevins Perry. She grew up and attended schools in Colbert, Okla., and graduated from Colbert High School. Sue married Richard “Ike” Eisenhauer on Dec. 14, 1985 in McAlester. She worked for Oklahoma Eye Wear as an optimetric assistant for 10 years. She was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church in McAlester. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Robert B. Thomas, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Chapter 1098 and the Elks BPOE Lodge No. 533. She was a member of the Fleet Navy Reserve Auxiliary and she played Canasta at the VFW.

Survivors include a daughter, Jane Nixon, of McAlester; a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Sharyn Barker, of Richmond, Ken., formerly of Pittsfield, Maine; four grandchildren, Shandrea and Matthew Caldwell, Cierra Barker, LeAnn and Jeremy Lewis, and Randy McDaniel; seven great-grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Maxine Perry, of Milford, Ohio; and special friend, Dusty Norman, of McAlester.

She was preceded in death by parents and her husband, Richard “Ike” Eisenhauer on April 18, 2003.
