McALESTER —
Micheal Long, 25, of McAlester, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at his home.
The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bishop Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bishop Chapel of Memories with the Rev. O.C. Hawkins officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.
Born Jan. 9, 1985, in McAlester, he was the son of Jerry and Marcella Renteria Long. He attended schools in McAlester. He was a salesman for U.S. Cellular and was a member of the McAlester First Assembly of God Church.
He enjoyed computers, writing and liked making films.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Marcella Long, of McAlester; a daughter, Natalie Long, of McAlester; brother, Greg Long, Topeka, Kan.; sister, Reina Long, of McAlester; two stepchildren, Nina and Caden Ludlum, of Alderson; grandparents, Reine Cordova, Victorville, Calif., Glenda McFee, Victorville, and Valentino and Regina Renteria, Arvin, Calif., and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Long Sr.; stepgrandfather, Ken McFee, and his maternal great-grandparents, Clorinda and Conrad Sr. Cordova.
