The local herb group called Kiamichi Herb Society will now meet every second and fourth Saturday at 9 a.m. in the McAlester Public Library.
The group formed out of interests in gardening, cooking and health. At meetings they share ideas, recipes and, on occasion, home-made snacks.
Their next scheduled meeting will be July 14.
