McALESTER — More information has been released in connection with an alleged kidnapping that occurred June 21 at Cedar Tree trailer park in Kiowa.

Joel Wise has been arrested by the Kiowa Police Department and charged with two felony counts a preliminary hearing conference is scheduled Friday at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, the alleged victim, a 41-year-old woman, was offered a ride to the bus station by the suspect.

The suspect took her to his home and dragged her by her arms from his truck into his residence and the suspect would not let her leave and continued to block the doorway which was the only exit, according to court records. The alleged victim said her phone was dead and she could not call out.
