McALESTER — * Hartshorne vs. Kansas, girls' 3A regional semi-final at the Muskogee Civic Center, 6:30 p.m.

* Hartshorne vs. Wyandotte, boys' 3A regional consolation first-round game at the Muskogee Civic Center, 8 p.m.

* Kiowa vs. Dewar, girls' Class A area championship at the Southeast Expo Center in McAlester, 6:30 p.m.

* McAlester at Bishop Kelley, boys' 5A regional first-round game, 8 p.m.

* McAlester wrestling at state tournament at State Fair Arena in Oklahoma City, first round at 10:30 a.m., semifinals at 7:15 p.m.

* Quinton vs. Wewoka, boys' 2A regional consolation semifinal at Talihina, 8 p.m.

* Savanna vs. Panama, girls' 2A regional consolation semifinal at Talihina, 6:30 p.m.

* Wilburton vs. Kingston, boys' 3A regional consolation semifinal, 8 p.m.

    McAlester United wrapped up its spring 2013 season Saturday, with several of its teams competing at a coed soccer tournament in Eufaula. McAlester’s under-12 teams took first and second at Eufaula, and its U-8 girls’ took second.

    McAlester High School Cheer, McAlester Main Street and the Red Cross have partnered to launch a donation drive for victims of the tornadoes that struck across Oklahoma on Monday. The drive begins today and continues tomorrow.

    Fighting between the North and South All-Star teams forced the 29th annual Lake Eufaula Classic to end without a winner with 6:41 left in the third quarter. The South had been leading when the game ended, 12-10.
