McALESTER — Eagle Hill Disc Golf Club will host a mini-tournament this Saturday at their disc golf course behind Trinity Lutheran Church. Competition will start at 6:00 p.m., with a $5 entry towards a $25 cash prize.
“The goal is just to come out and have fun,” said Trinity pastor Glenn Meyer. “Especially to learn more about the sport, to hone your skills.”
The mini-tournament’s format will be one 18-hole round on the course. While there are only nine actual baskets, players will start from two tees far enough apart to make each a unique throwing experience. They will play all nine holes from the main tee, then re-walk the course using the alternate tees.
