Buffs lose soccer home-opener

McALESTER — With his goal four minutes into the first half, sophomore Cade Harkins became the first McAlester Buffalo ever to score a goal in a regular-season soccer game at Hook Eales Stadium.

McAlester’s first soccer win, on the other hand, will have to wait a few more days.

Wagoner freshman Alex Wisdom scored two second-half goals, helping the Bulldogs come back and beat the Buffaloes, 5-4, on Friday.

Playing first Friday night, the Lady Buffs lost to the Lady Bulldogs, 4-0. Wagoner freshman Kallie Smith scored a hat-trick.
